Getting Here
The Perch is at 995 Palana Rd Blue Rocks which is 5 minutes (car) north from the main airport or less than 15 minutes from Whitemark. The property is central to many of the features of Flinders Island. Once on the island you have a number of options to get to the Perch or around the island.
Flights to Flinders Island
Flinders Island is 40 minutes by air from Launceston in Tasmania, and 60 minutes by air from Essendon Airport (Melbourne) in Victoria.

As there are limited hire cars on the Island, before booking flights check car hire availability. Also any transport services to/from the airport need to be arranged in advance.
Note:
- For interstate travellers Tasmania has strict biosecurity regulations in place.
- We are on Island time (Shop hours 9-5.30pm Mon-Fri & Sat morning) and although Lady Barron store is open on Saturday & Sunday until 3pm. most businesses are not open on Tasmanian public holidays. If arriving late or weekend bring in some supplies.
- The Island has only Telstra 4G mobile telephone coverage.
